Jeramy Hooper has called Pinehurst home for nearly two decades. Originally from Muskogee, Oklahoma, he first moved to the area in 2003 at the age of 26 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the Village’s character, history, and sense of community.

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a master’s degree from Western Carolina University, Jeramy built a career spanning more than 24 years in construction distribution and services. He currently serves as a Regional Market Specialist with HomeSphere, a technology-driven company that connects national building product manufacturers with homebuilders throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. His professional experience offers a practical understanding of residential development trends, which he applies in his service to the Pinehurst community.

Before being elected to the Village Council, Jeramy served the community in several volunteer roles, including Chair of the Pinehurst Planning and Zoning Board, member of the Board of Adjustment, and member of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Recently, he also represented Pinehurst on the Moore County Land Use Plan Committee, contributing to the county’s long-range planning framework.

Jeramy and his wife, Kerry Black Hooper, a Moore County native, are raising their young daughter here in the Village.  Deeply invested in Pinehurst’s future, Jeramy remains committed to preserving the Village’s distinctive charm and ensuring that its growth reflects the values and vision of its residents.
