Kevin Fitzpatrick and his wife, Ann, retired to Pinehurst in 2020 and quickly embraced life in the Village. Kevin currently serves as President of the Pinehurst No. 6 Community Association and is an active volunteer in several Village initiatives.
Kevin’s professional career spanned leadership roles in national healthcare organizations. He served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of CancerLinQ™, a groundbreaking learning system designed to improve cancer care nationwide. Prior to that, he spent seven years as Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of the American College of Cardiology, where he helped develop and expand major national programs to improve cardiovascular and diabetes care. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with the global medical publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and Duke University Medical Center.
He is a graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant program and the Yale New Haven /Norwalk Hospital Surgical Residency. During his time at Duke, Kevin served as Managing Director of The Duke/Hewlett Packard Center for Outcomes Research and Director of the Trauma Research Laboratory. In recognition of his work, he received the Smithsonian Institution/Computerworld Healthcare Computing Innovation Award in 1996.
Since moving to Pinehurst, Kevin has focused on giving back to the community. In addition to leading the No. 6 Community Association, he serves on the Village of Pinehurst Neighborhood Advisory Committee and the Pinehurst Development Ordinance Focus Group. He is an active member of the Pinehurst Rotary Club and for the past three years has served as Course Captain for U.S. Kids Golf at No. 6. In 2025, Kevin was honored as Pinehurst’s Volunteer of the Year.
