The Human Resources Director reports directly to the Village Manager and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. Along with the Director, one full-time Human Resources Generalist and one part-time Human Resources Assistant, provide a strategic service for recruitment, retention and recognition of competent staff.
Areas of focus include:
• Reward and recognition systems for approximately 130 full-time employees(current organizational chart)
• Programs to enhance employee job satisfaction and a balanced family/work life
• A comprehensive compensation and benefits package to encourage retention
• Training and development programs to ensure workforce performance meets current and future needs
• Education and services to promote a safe work environment
