The Given Tufts Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Given Memorial Library and Tufts Archives, two of Pinehurst's most treasured community institutions. Working in partnership with the Village of Pinehurst since 2022, the Foundation provides funding for programs, collections, resources, and enhancements that extend beyond the Library's municipal operating budget.

The Foundation operates the Given Tufts Bookshop, located in the historic Old Post Office building in the Village Center. Staffed by approximately 70 volunteers and stocked with donated books, the Bookshop has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit the Library and Archives. Every purchase directly supports these community resources, making it an easy way for residents and visitors to give back while discovering great books.

In addition to operating the Bookshop, the Foundation hosts fundraising events, accepts tax-deductible donations, and provides volunteer opportunities to help preserve Pinehurst's history and enrich lifelong learning for the community.
