History, Charm and Southern Hospitality
One notable feature of the Village of Pinehurst is our team of active volunteers. Many of our residents serve the Village in countless ways by giving of their time and talents to better the community. Pinehurst has the great fortune of having many residents who have served in a wide array of professions, which has given them expertise in areas that they now use to benefit our entire community. We hope you will consider getting involved and sharing your experience with our local community.
Our volunteer boards and committees post their meeting schedules to the Village Calendar which can be found here. We invite you to attend these public meetings to learn more about how you can get involved!
Our Council appointed advisory boards and commissions seek talented citizens who are interested in serving the local area. Those who have been residents of Pinehurst (or the extra-territorial jurisdiction) for at least 2 years, may apply to volunteer on any of the Council appointed boards/commissions. Please complete and print the application, and return it via FAX, mail, or e-mail to the Village Clerk.
In order to accommodate the visitors to the Welcome Center, we need to expand our staff of volunteers. Duties include greeting guests, providing directions, and offering recommendations for dining, lodging, etc. If you are interested in volunteering at the Welcome Center, please click here.
If you are interested in applying as a Citizen On Patrol (Citizens Police Academy) with our Police Department, please click here.
