Pinehurst Fire Department Offers CPR/AED Training
The Pinehurst Fire Department will provide American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR/AED training on Wednesday, September 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the fire station, 405 Magnolia Road.
Class size is limited to 18. Pre-registration is required by contacting the Fire Department at 910-295-5575 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upon completion of this course, students may purchase an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Course Completion card for $3 that is valid for two years. The training is provided at no charge.
Heart disease and stroke are the leading causes of death in the US, with more than 17 million deaths each year. Lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR and how to use an AED. The Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child, & Infant course offers education for those who need certification documenting completed training in CPR/AED use. This course is for lay rescuers and does not meet requirement for health care providers.
